Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, as well as a writer. She is most famously well-known for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her stage experience began during the 1950s in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions until she made it huge in the national theater scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. Her first music album called It's time for Tina during the same year. Louise embarked on a journey to Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden from God's Big Acre, a drama movie released in 1958.The film received a crow's-foot of acclaim as well as Louise received an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. During this time she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and developed her association to Lee Strasberg as his student. The actress joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise did not stop juggling her professional life across Broadway TV and Hollywood playing more serious characters as opposed to her perception of being glamorous. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She also played SG-1 on the show and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years she's also established herself as a well-known and respected director of famous television shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. The family that she was raised with moved out of Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for childhood and adolescence. In 1997, after being picked to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in Vancouver ever since.
