Sometimes, a glamorous career conceals some of the saddest stories. Lolo was able to achieve her current place of prominence after years of hard work and perseverance. Jones is a child born into a family of no mothers and had five children living suffering from poverty and hardships as a child, had an incredibly difficult childhood. Her mother was constantly moving and she even was a resident in the basement. Jones, who lived a nomadic and mobile life up until she enrolled in high school, had the option of moving to a new school each year. Jones had to live away from mother in Theodore Roosevelt School in order pursue her love of track. She lived at four different homes during her time in high school, so she could study all in one location. Jones was a cellist with the school's orchestra as well as recipient of Gatorade the track and field award for athlete of the Year won her an award called the Gatorade Iowa Athlete Award towards the end of high school. Jones began her career in the NCAA as one of the best hurdlers. At the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championships, she won the 100-meter hurdles. In addition, she was one of the participants of the runner-up team in the relay race of 100 meters. In 2003 and in 2004, Jones won the indoor hurdles event during the NCAA Championship. Jones started her career in 2005 after she completed her bachelor's degree. Jones began training to prepare for a career in track. Jones was the winner of Torino Memorial in 2005, in addition to Ostrava and Heusden track events in the next year.
Brandt moved out of Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the close of her teen years. Brandt was found by casting directors in her home town and was cast in the role of Naevia for the Starz popular Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Her character was popular with audiences and production team members Steven S. D Knight, Sam Raimi and Sam Raimi. Mazikeen is a DC Comics/Vertigo role model who appeared on the hit Netflix show Lucifer. The show ran for six years. Forbes named Lucifer as the number one binge-watched show for 2021. Brandt is set to next be seen alongside Andrew Lincoln, Danai Guarira and other Walking Dead cast members in the six episode Walking Dead spinoff that airs in 2020. Her other Netflix shows include animated adult show Captain Fall starring Jason Ritter, Anthony Carrigan, and Chris Meloni. This will air in the month of July in 2023. Lesley-Ann Brandt was born on 2nd December the 2nd of December 1981 at Cape Town South Africa. She is one talented New Zealander actress. Lesley Brandt and her family moved to New Zealand in the city of Auckland. Zealand in the year 1999. In Auckland she was employed as a salesperson, and then was promoted to IT management consultant. Lesley was featured in a variety of commercial ads after several modelling projects. She graduated in 2008 from her majors and studied Meisner method of study. Lesley's first major acting gig was with New Zealand's TV show Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt has shown up on The New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street in a visiting role as a supporting character. She then appeared in the Sci-fi thriller This Is Not My Life, based on anecdotal Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was later reprised as the role in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
